With a strong background in leadership and strategic communications, she has over 20 years of experience supporting nonprofits, community organizations, and executive leaders. She specializes in storytelling, strategic communications planning, media coaching, and issues management.
Her work is rooted in the belief that when stories are told with intention, they can move hearts, shift perceptions, and create change. She founded NillaRock Communications to help clients tell stories that align with purpose and create impact. Petronilla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with Specialization in Marketing Communications from Institute of Marketing Management in South Africa, and a Master of Arts Degree in International Communications and Development from City University, United Kingdom. She is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) in Canada and is known for her diplomacy and tact in moments that matter most.
Before founding NillaRock Communications, our lead strategist spent seven years behind the mic — reporting, producing, and anchoring for broadcast media. This experience offered a front-row seat to how stories unfold, how newsrooms operate, and what makes a message land.
